Moonlit Horror Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. dark rum

  • 1 oz. blackcurrant liqueur

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup

  • A dash of Angostura bitters

  • Edible glitter (optional, for a moonlit shimmer)

  • Black sugar (for rimming the glass)

  • Ice

 

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Rim a chilled glass with black sugar.

  2. Mix the Drink: In a shaker, combine dark rum, blackcurrant liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters. Add ice and shake well.

  3. Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

  4. Add the Moonlit Touch: Sprinkle a pinch of edible glitter on top for a shimmering effect.

  5. Garnish: Add a lime wheel or a twist of lime peel for garnish.
