✨ Small Bites, Big Impact

We celebrated the winners of our Small Bites Short Story Contest last June at the Awards Gala held in Quincy, IL, proving that short works can carry immense power. And with the next Small Bites Short Story Contest already underway, there’s still time to submit your story. The theme is “What the Light Revealed”. The submission deadline is January 31st

Our Author Retreat blossomed into something larger, now expanding into Inklight, a festival of words, film, and empowering creative voices. What began as a gathering has become a movement, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Tickets are already available, so you can secure your place in this celebration of creativity.

From monthly trivia and polls to audiobooks by the beach in the evolving Inkrealm VR book world, we’ve built spaces where readers and writers can wander, play, and belong. Each addition this year has been a step toward making Indies United not just a publishing house, but a vibrant sanctuary.
