Born and raised in the vibrant heart of San Francisco, Brian Brady found endless inspiration in the City, celebrated for its stunning architecture, dynamic sports teams, rich traditions and colorful characters. His law enforcement career journey began as a Police Officer and culminated as Police Chief. He worked with four different departments in two states. He later transitioned to Corporate Security and consulting positions. This path led him through diverse landscapes, from Berkeley's eclectic streets to the scenic vistas of Farmington, New Mexico, and eventually back to the Bay Area. He then moved into the private sector, holding Executive positions at prestigious organizations such as NBC Universal and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Brian's professional journey is as varied as it is enriching, allowing him to encounter a myriad of fascinating individuals and gather a collection of compelling stories. His debut novel, "oh, what a tangled web", marks his entrance into the world of storytelling. Following this story, he completed additional manuscripts featuring the same beloved characters. (Fog City Stories) Fans of the SFPD Homicide Inspectors, from his first book will be delighted to follow their further exploits in "Hiding in plain sight", “greed” and subsequent novels. His follow up book, “still waters run DEEP” is a departure from the friendly confines of San Francisco taking the reader to the much more remote areas of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. The book follows the investigation of a violent militia group seeking to establish a new independent location in Montana. There are new investigators and a new story. In his latest book, THE CREW, Brian again wanders outside his normal comfort zone of crime/fiction to create a fictional account of a group of getting older “old friends” turned pirate hunters. It’s a different kind of story.
