On her website, Thoniehevron.com, she posts stories from other law enforcement veterans to accurately portray the police character for fiction writers. Her first suspense/thriller, By Force or Fear, placed third in the PSWA’s 2012 Fiction Competition under the name Probable Cause. Set in the Sonoma County Wine Country where she lives, Thonie shares her home in historic Petaluma, California with her husband, Danny, a princess kitty, and two rescue mutts.
