Having spent several decades living and working in different countries around the world, including the US, I have now settled in Southern Spain together with my husband, two cats, and two Dachsie dogs. I have had articles and short stories published in various magazines and newspapers, including The Guardian UK. As an Indie author, I have just published my latest book Three Girls on KDP. It is set in Holland where I lived for several years. Prior to that two books of mine were published by a small publisher in the US. My next book is set in Cairo.
I have an Arts and a Science degree and a teaching qualification. I have also completed a Creative Writing course. As well as writing and editing, I teach English, French, and Spanish to adult learners on a part-time basis.
I edit for writers who are based in various locations around the world, including authors whose mother tongue isn’t English and who may need a bit of extra help with the grammar. I try to make my rates as reasonable as possible and always offer a free trial chapter to make sure I can give the author what they are looking for. I am always aware that authors often don’t have a lot of money to invest in editorial services before the sales come rolling in, but I am committed to helping ensure that the books I receive for editing are accurate and will have the best possible chance in the marketplace.
